Dear friend,
In a couple of days, you’ll wake up to find a picture in your inbox. The picture will be paired with a song. You can choose to skip the song to stick to an unbiased visual experience, or tune in and see where the music carries you.
No matter how you decide to approach this, when you receive a new image, try to find some time during the day to quiet the mind. Access the website from a computer and allow yourself the pleasure of going beyond the surface. Remember, the main idea behind this gradual release is to slow down, see deeply and reflect on how your perception changes when you get into a contemplative state.
What do you see?
What do you feel?
Where does the image take you?
You might be tempted to give up quickly and head back to what you were doing. That’s totally fine. When you do though, before disengaging, try to understand what is pulling you away, and why. Maybe the image doesn't mean much to you. Maybe you don't feel comfortable looking at it for a prolonged period of time. Or maybe you got distracted by something else. It’s worth poking.
You don't have to do any of the above by the way. You ultimately decide how to shape this and how far you want to take it. This is just an invitation to experience something a bit differently.
I wish you a great journey ahead.
